Privacy policy

The short version
- Players can play without giving us a name, an email or an account.
- We do not sell personal data. There is no advertising network on this site.
- We do not track Players across other websites.
- Agencies give us a name and email because they hold an account.
- We never receive or store card numbers.
What we collect
From Players

We do not ask Players for a name, email or address to play. Clear your cookies and the identifier is gone, along with the progress attached to it.
From Agencies

Creator content
Content uploaded by an Agency is stored to operate the Platform. It is served only to Players who have reached the relevant stage, is marked not to be cached by intermediaries, and is excluded from search engine indexing. Locked stages are refused at the server, not merely hidden in the interface.
Once a Player has legitimately unlocked a video they can technically record it, as on any video service. We limit exposure, but we cannot prevent it and will not claim otherwise.
Cookies
We use cookies strictly to run the service. There are no advertising or analytics trackers.

Who we share with
- Payment provider — to take payment. They handle card details; we never see them.
- Hosting and delivery providers — to serve the site and video.
- Law enforcement — where legally required, or where we believe content involves a minor or non-consensual material.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Player progress: until the cookie is cleared or after 12 months of inactivity.
- Agency accounts: while the account is open, then 90 days.
- Financial records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Creator content: until deleted by the Agency, then removed from backups within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to processing. Write to privacy@playtowatch.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Players: because we hold no name or email, the practical way to erase your data is to clear your cookies. If you made a purchase, contact us with the receipt reference and we can locate and delete the associated record.
Security
- Passwords stored as salted scrypt hashes, never in plain text.
- Sessions are signed and tamper-evident.
- Each Agency's data is isolated; one Agency cannot read or alter another's, and we test this.
- Locked content is refused server side.
- Card details never touch our servers.
No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting personal data we will notify affected people and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
Age
This service is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. Before any Creator content is served we ask you to confirm your age, and we record that confirmation in the p2w_adult cookie described above. The confirmation is a declaration by you; it holds no name, no document and no identifier that points back to you.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the service, contact privacy@playtowatch.com and we will delete the data immediately.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new date, and notify Agencies by email where the change is material.
